This..is for the girl staring out the window with her headphones plugged into her ears,

I know she can’t hear me,

I can only hope she feels the words..like blind eyes,

She’s so alone and tired of her beauty attracting people who only want to use her,

She just wants them to repel, like bug spray,

They just won’t stop bugging her,

She stays up to the late hours of the night when the world goes silent..and her thoughts begin to scream,

Tears say hello to her cheek,

It’s a greeting that’s too familiar,

No amount of concealer..can help her..make up..a face that doesn’t resemble sadness,

She’s stuck in a constant state of panic..but never decides to press the button,

She lets the world rob her of happiness..she believes she’s not meant to smile..

I just want her to smile,

I hope she can grab a shovel and dig deep..deep..deep inside..and realize that her soul is so colorful,

She can illuminate her dark path..and show herself the way,

I just want her to know that she matters,

Look in the mirror and give herself a round of applause,

She currently has no crowd to do so,

It’ll get crowded in no time,

Once you believe in yourself others will follow suit,

And..whenever you feel the warmth of your self love..be sure to put a tracking device on it..so if it ever decides to wander away..you’ll be able to reach it,

This..is for the girl staring out the window with her headphones plugged into her ears,

I know she can’t hear me,

I can only hope she feels the words..like blind eyes.
